FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDDATE – JANUARY 2021

One month of 2021 has passed already and February is over halfway gone. Time passes much too quickly. This has not been the best winter here on the Forgotten Coast. It has been much cooler than usual and it is never going to stop raining!

Sales activity for the month of January was still active but was down somewhat after to extremely strong end of 2021. Our hard working group of local realtors produced 43 total property sales on St. George Island, Apalachicola, Carrabelle and Eastpoint – 20 single family homes, 1 condo, 2 mobile homes and 20 residential home sites. Carrabelle saw the most activity with 17 total sales – 7 single family homes, 2 mobile homes and 7 residential home sites. St. George Island had 16 total sales – 8 single family homes and 9 residential home sites. Apalachicola had 1 sale – a condo in Toad Hollow. Eastpoint had 10 total sales – 5 single family homes and 5 residential home sites. Sales ranged from a low of $17,000 for 3 residential home sites in Carrabelle Landing which sold for $17,000 each and a high of $1,275,000 for a 5 bedroom/4 bath Plantation gulf front home with private pool.
