FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDATE – JUNE 2023

Summer is here with a vengeance! It is awful hot and rain storms almost everyday. I know the weather is crazy everywhere, so please stay safe!

Sales activity throughout St. George Island, Apalachicola, Carrabelle and Eastpoint remained strong with 80 total sales – 16 single family homes, 7 condo/town homes, 3 mobile homes, 53 residential home sites and 1 commercial property. While sales of single family homes were down, lot sales continue to be strong with new construction all throughout the county. Carrabelle saw the most activity with 34 total sales – 5 single family homes, 6 condo/town homes, 2 mobile homes and 21 residential home sites. St. George Island had 25 total sales – 5 single family homes, 1 condo/town home and 19 residential home sites. Apalachicola had 9 total sales – 4 single family homes, 4 residential home sites and 1 commercial property – the “Hole in the Wall” restaurant. Eastpoint had 12 total sales – 2 single family homes, 1 mobile home and 9 residential home sites. Sales ranged from a low of $19,000 for a lot in Carrabelle Landing to $1,550,000 for a 5 bedroom/5 bath 1st tier gulf view home in Sunset Beach on St. George Island.
