FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDATE – JULY 2023

Hope everyone has had a great summer and survived this incredible heat. My family was crazy enough not only to go the Busch Gardens in July but topped it off with Disney in August. Oh well, we survived anyway. Things have slowed down considerably here on the Forgotten Coast as typical for the month of August with the start of another school year.

Sales activity for the month of July 2023 on St. George Island, Apalachicola, Carrabelle and Eastpoint was down somewhat with 67 total sales – 23 single family homes, 3 condo/town homes, 3 mobile homes, 34 residential home sites and 4 commercial properties. Carrabelle once again saw the most activity with 36 total sales – 11 single family homes, 3 condo/town homes, 3 mobile homes, 18 residential home sites and 1 commercial property. St. George Island had 14 total sales – 5 single family homes, 7 residential home sites and 2 commercial lots. Apalachicola had 10 total sales – 5 single family homes, 4 residential home sites and 1 commercial property. Eastpoint had 7 total sales – 2 single family homes and 5 residential home sites. Sales ranged from a low of $15,500 for a residential home site in Carrabelle to $2,190,000 for a 6 bedroom/5.5 bath gulf front home with private pool located in the Gulf Beaches on St. George Island.
