Forgotten Coast Sales Update for June 2014

FOURTH OF JULY PARADE ON ST. GEORGE ISLAND!

I hope your summer is going well.  It has been extremely hot here which is just how summer should be.  Our granddaughters were here for three weeks and participated in the island parade on the Friday before the 4th.  We have been adding to our decorations each year and we were very pleased with this year’s results.  These parades will be memories they will never forget.  But then, that is what St. George Island is all about – Memories that will last a lifetime!

Sales activity remained strong for the month of June 2015.  Throughout the area there were 42 sales of property – 12 vacant land and 30 homes/town homes.  On St. George Island – 4 lots were sold (2 gulf front) and 11 homes/town homes.  Sales of units in 300 Ocean Mile were active with 4 units being sold.  In Apalachicola there were 2 lots sold and 8 single family homes.  In Carrabelle there were 4 lots sold and 7 single family/town homes/condos sold.  In Eastpoint there was a sale of 60 acres on Blount’s Bay.  There were 3 homes and 1 lot sold on Alligator Point and 1 home on Dog Island.  Sales prices ranged from a low of $4,500 for a lot located in Carrabelle Landing to $1,287,750 for a 6 bedroom/6 bath bank owned gulf front home in the Plantation.
