FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDATE – DECEMBER 2024

I hope everyone is surviving this bitterly cold weather. I have lived here for 23 yrs and today is the first time I have seen snow in Florida. Crazy times! Sales activity for December 2024 remained slow throughout St. George Island, Apalachicola, Carrabelle and Eastpoint with 31 total sales – 12 single family homes, 7 condo/town homes, 1 mobile home, 10 residential home sites and 1 commercial property. Apalachicola saw the most activity with 12 total sales – 5 single family homes, 4 town homes, 2 residential home sites and 1 commercial property. St. George Island had 8 total sales – 4 single family homes, 1 condo/town home and 3 residential home sites. Carrabelle had 10 total sales – 2 single family homes, 2 condo/town homes, 1 mobile home and 5 residential home sites. Eastpoint had 1 single family home sale. Sales prices ranged from a low of $18,900 for a lot in Bay Magnolia subdivision in Carrabelle to $1,499,000 for a 4 bedroom/2 bath gulf front home on St. George Island in the Gulf Beaches.
