Forgotten Coast Sales Update – December 2015

January is here and it has been quite cool here.  No frost yet so all my plants are still thriving but cold enough that I have had to wear socks on 3 different occasions.  That, to me, is way too cold!  I am spoiled by our wonderful weather and not a bit ashamed of it.

Sales activity for the final month of 2015 was very strong with sales of 24 single family homes, 1 mobile home and 3 condos/townhomes.  There were 15 sales of vacant lots.

St. George Island had a very active month with 12 single family homes, 2 condos and 5 vacant lots sold for a total of 19 properties.  In Apalachicola, 3 homes were sold and 1 vacant lot.  In Carrabelle, 3 homes, 1 mobile home and 1 townhome were sold along with 6 vacant lots.  In Eastpoint, there were 3 homes sold and 2 vacant lots.  There were sales of 3 homes on Alligator Point and 1 vacant lot on Dog Island.  Sales prices ranged from a low of $3,000 for a lot in Carrabelle Landings to the sale of a 6 bedroom/7 1/2 bath Plantation gulf front home with pool for $2,325,000.
