Forgotten Coast Sales Update April 2016

Summer is just around the corner.  School is almost over for another year and my granddaughters are counting down the days. They are ready for some summer fun.  A week in Orlando with Mom and then three weeks with us where they will be spoiled rotten.

This has been a beautiful spring.  It has been warm but not too hot.  We have oleanders blooming that have not bloomed in several years.  Everything looks so pretty that I hate to have to spend anytime indoors.    Have I ever mentioned how much I love living in this most perfect area?

Sales activity was somewhat slower for the month of April with just 33 total sales – 16 single family homes, 2 condo/townhomes, one commercial property  and 14 lot sales.  On St. George Island there were 11 properties sold – 6 single family homes, 1 townhome, 1 commercial building and 3 vacant lots.  In Apalachicola there were 8 properties sold – 4 single family homes and 4 vacant lots.  In Carrabelle there were 10 properties sold – 4 single family homes, 1 condo and 5 vacant lots.  In Eastpoint there was 1 single family home sold and 1 vacant lot.  On Alligator Point there was 1 single family home sold and 1 vacant lot.  Sales prices ranged from $6,500 for a vacant lot in Carrabelle Landings to $915,000 for a 3 bedroom/2 bath Plantation gulf front home on St. George Island.
