Well the month of January is half over and it looks like 2015 is going to fly by just like 2014. It is beautiful here today with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 60’s. We have been lucky so far this winter with just a couple of cold spells but, unfortunately, it was cold enough to zap my hibiscus. They will come back out when the weather warms but they look so pitiful right now with the dead leaves and no blooms. I am so ready for spring!
The real estate market was somewhat slow for the first of January which is typical. St. George Island remained active though with the sale of three commercial lots and three single family homes. There was one home sold in Apalachicola, a commercial lot in Carrabelle and a beautiful Magnolia Bay bay front home in Eastpoint.
