Hello from the Forgotten Coast! The Seafood Festival was a huge success as always and although the weather was cooler than ususal, it was a beautiful weekend. The month of November will be busy with all of the visitors coming down for the Thanksgiving holiday and enjoying Santa’s arrival on a shrimp boat in Apalachicola on Friday. All of the local merchants will stay open late that evening and it is a great way to begin the Holiday Season and get a head start on your shopping with no Black Friday madness!
Sales remain somewhat slow but consistent. Since my last post 4 homes closed on St. George Island In Apalachicola, 2 homes closed along with 1 residential lot and 1 commercial lot. In Carrabelle, 1 home near the Carrabelle River closed. Eastpoint had closings of 1 single family home, 2 mobile homes and 1 commercial building located on Hwy. 98.
