FORGOTTEN COAST UPDATE – MAY 2019

HAPPY SUMMER!!  Summer is finally here and it is great to see so many visitors enjoying our beautiful beaches and great fishing.  I hope that your summer plans include a trip to this special area.  There is no place else that offers the beauty and tranquility of Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

Sales activity was quite strong for the month of May with 47 total sales – 17 single family homes, 9 condo/town homes, 3 mobile homes and 18 residential home sites.  St. George Island and Carrabelle saw the most activity with 19 sales each.  On St. George Island there were sales of 8 single family homes, 5 condo/town homes, 1 mobile home and 5 residential home sites.  In Carrabelle there were sales of 4 single family homes, 4 condo/town homes, 2 mobile homes and 9 residential home sites.  Apalachicola had 6 total sales – 4 single family homes and 2 residential home sites.  Eastpoint had 3 total sales – 1 single family home and 2 residential home sites.  Sales prices ranged from a low of $5,000 for a residential home site in Lanark to $1,810,000 for a 6 bedroom/4.5 bath Plantation gulf front home.
