FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDATE – MAY 2017

The busy summer season is officially here.  It is great to see so many folks enjoying our beautiful beaches, great fishing and all the quaint shops and good restaurants throughout the area.

Sales activity remained strong during the month of May with 52 total sales – 23 single family homes, 7 town homes/condos, 3 mobile homes, 17 residential home sites and 2 commercial properties.  Carrabelle saw the most activity with 23 total sales – 7 single family homes, 5 town home/condos, 3 mobile homes and 8 residential home sites.  On St. George Island there were 20 total sales – 12 single family homes, 1 condo, 6 residential home sites and 1 commercial property.  Apalachicola had 6 total sales – 2 single family homes, 1 condo and 3 residential home sites.  In Eastpoint there were 3 sales – 2 single family homes and 1 lot zoned mixed use commercial/residential.  Sales prices ranged from $15,000 for a residential home site in St. James Bay to $1,899,000 for a 5 bedroom/5.5 bath Plantation gulf front home.
