FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDATE – MARCH 2018

We are having a beautiful springtime here on the Forgotten Coast.  Everything is so pretty and green and the temperatures have been perfect.  This is also one of the best times to plan a visit to the area and beat the summer crowds.  There are some great events planned over the next few weeks.  This weekend is the Apalachicola Classic Boat and Car show and on the last weekend of April the Carrabelle Riverfront Festival will be in full swing.  Come on down and enjoy the fun!

Sales activity was up for the month of March with 48 total sales – 22 single family homes, 5 town home/condos, 1 mobile home, 18 residential home sites and 2 commercial properties.  St. George Island saw the most activity with 21 total sales – 11 single family homes, 3 town home/condos, 6 residential home sites and commercial land consisting of 3 adjoining lots.  Apalachicola had 12 total sales – 7 single family homes, 4 residential home sites and 1 commercial building.  Carrabelle had 10 total sales – 2 single family homes, 2 town home/condos, 1 mobile home and 5 residential home site parcels.   Eastpoint had 5 total sales – 2 single family homes and 3 residential home sites.  Sales prices ranged from a low of $7,000 for a  bank owned residential home site in River’s Edge subdivision in Apalachicola to $2,708,500 for a 5 bedroom/5 and 2 1/2 bath Plantation gulf front home with private pool and elevator.
