FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDATE – JUNE 2017

Hello from the most wonderful place on earth!  The busy summer season is officially here and it is great to see so many folks enjoying our beautiful beaches, great fishing and 1st class restaurants.  Our two youngest granddaughters were here for 3 weeks and the oldest spent some time with us on her way to Orlando.  It is a rare treat to have all three of them together as they are growing up and have busy lives of their own.  I hope that they will always treasure the many happy memories shared with us in this special area.

Sales activity was extremely strong for the month of June with 61 total sales – 24 single family homes, 7 town homes/condos, 3 mobile homes, 26 residential home sites and 1 commercial property.  St. George Island had the most sales with 24 properties – 11 single family homes, 2 condos/town homes and 11 residential home sites.  In Apalachicola there were 9 properties sold – 6 single family homes, 1 condo at the Water Street Hotel and 2 residential home sites.  Carrabelle had 20 total sales  – 4 single family homes, 4 condos/town homes, 3 mobile homes, 8 residential home sites and 1 commercial property.  Eastpoint had 8 total sales – 3 single family homes and 5 residential home sites.

Sales prices ranged from $10,000 for a residential home site in St. James Bay to $2,220,000 for a Plantation six bedroom/six bath gulf front home with private pool.  There are some truly great properties available in the area which will fit all budgets and have something special to offer.
