FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDATE – JANUARY 2018

Our couple of months of winter appear to be over and it is once again warm and sunny here on the Forgotten Coast.  Things have been very busy here with lots of snowbird renters and various activities every weekend.  People have discovered this area and appreciate all it has to offer.  I try to never take for granted how fortunate I am to live in this special place.

Sales activity for the month of January was still somewhat slow with 28 total sales throughout St. George Island, Apalachicola, Carrabelle and Eastpoint.  Total sales consisted of 13 single family homes, 4 town home/condos and 11 residential home sites.  On St. George Island there were 9 total sales – 5 single family homes, 1 condo in Villas of St. George and 3 residential home sites.  Apalachicola had 5 totals sales – 4 single family homes and 1 residential home site.  Carrabelle saw the most activity with 11 total sales – 2 single family homes, 3 condos and 6 residential home sites.  Eastpoint had 3 sales – 2 single family homes and 1 residential home site.  Sales ranged from $9,250 for a 1.59 acre home site in Baywood Estates in Carrabelle to $2,450,000 for an 8 bedroom/2.5 bath Plantation gulf front home with elevator and pool.
