FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDATE – APRIL 2018

We are just a couple of weeks away from the start of the busy summer vacation season.  However, the area has become such a popular destination that there never really seems to be a slow season anymore.   Any month in Florida is better than any month any where else in my opinion.   I was able to visit our home town of Louisville at the end of April and got to see my youngest granddaughter in the lead role of her middle school play, The Little Mermaid.  She was wonderful and I had no idea that she could sing!

Sales activity was very strong for the month of April with 57 total sales – 30 single family homes, 3 town homes/condos, 2 mobile homes, 20 residential home sites and 2 commercial properties.  St. George Island saw the most activity with 20 total sales – 14 single family homes and 6 residential home sites.   Apalachicola had 12 total sales – 6 single family homes, 1 town home, 1 mobile home, 3 residential home sites and 1 commercial property.  Carrabelle had 18 total sales – 5 single family homes, 2 town homes/condos, 1 mobile home, 9 residential home sites and 1 commercial building.  Eastpoint had 7 total sales – 5 single family homes and 2 residential home sites.  Sales prices ranged from $10,000 for a residential home site in Carrabelle to $930,000 for a 7 bedroom/6.5 1st tier home with private pool located in Casa Del Mar in the Plantation.
